As both an independent businessman and an employee who has (reluctantly) achieved “Senior Citizen” status, I have encountered several situations where I required the support and counsel of an attorney for IRS representation or employee/employer litigation, or both. Because of a long-time personal and business relationship with the recently deceased Sander Simen, I always utilized the skills of Sander and his staff at Simen, Figura & Parker, PLC.
Whenever the prospect of litigation loomed on the horizon, Sander brought Michael Gildner into the mix. Most importantly to me, he lived up to every commitment in regards to communication, deadlines and content, and he always seemed to have the highest regard for my time, a trait not always evident in my interaction with the legal profession.
As an aside, I have moved from the Flint area to (downriver) Trenton, some 90 miles from Mike’s office. Despite that distance, Mike is currently and will in the future remain my “Go To” guy whenever I need legal help of any kind.
